How to choose a GOOLOO jump starter
A jump starter’s job is simple: deliver enough safe current to crank a dead battery without another car. GOOLOO packs differ mainly by peak amps, engine coverage, charging speed, display features, and whether an air compressor is built in.

1. Match peak amps to your engine
Compact cars and motorcycles are usually fine with 2000–3000A class packs (GP2000, G7, GP3000). Mid-size SUVs and light trucks commonly land in the 4000A range (GP4000, GT4000S, A5). Large gas engines, diesels up to about 10–12L, and frequent winter starts push you toward 4500–6000A (GT6000, A7). Heavy commercial diesels and RVs are why the GT TRUCK PRO exists.
2. Check gas vs diesel coverage
Manufacturer charts list maximum gas and diesel displacement. Do not buy only on the peak-amp badge — confirm the diesel liter rating on the product page. When in doubt, size up one class.
3. Cold weather and standby
Lithium packs lose cranking strength in extreme cold. Prefer pre-heating, higher amp headroom, or strong low-temperature ratings for winter climates. Long standby claims matter for glovebox storage.
4. Charging ports and turnaround
USB-A / USB-C turns the pack into an emergency power bank. Higher models add bidirectional USB-C (~100W) so you can recharge the pack itself much faster after a jump.
5. Jump-only vs combo kits
Pure jump starters stay smaller and usually cost less per amp. Combo kits (A3, A5, A7) add a tire compressor. Choose a combo for one roadside brick; choose dedicated tools if you want best-in-class performance for each job.
6. Safety features
SuperSafe-style smart clamps with reverse-polarity and spark-proof protection reduce user error. A clear status display is worth more than a flashy amp number you cannot verify at the roadside.
